Building Responsibly, Enhancing Tomorrow & Connecting Communities
We are committed to creating value for all. We understand that responsible work ethics deliver industry-leading returns in a sustainable fashion ahead of changing regulations.
Tier Group is committed to positive world impact and recognizes the responsibility and leverage of business in this very important process. We look to align our business vision and strategy with the UN Sustainable Development Goals, specifically goal 8.7, with a view to creating a globally healthy and responsible infrastructure.
We work passionately and diligently to uphold the United Nations Global Compact (UNGC) pillars of human rights, labor, environment, and anti-corruption.
Operating in the most ethical and sustainable way is a commitment we make to our customers, partners, stakeholders, and the communities where we do business. We keep this commitment by considering the long-term impact of every decision we make. We recognize that we can create better spaces by putting people, communities, and the environment first.
OUR VALUES AND PRINCIPLES
Tier Group strives to positively contribute to the public, the economy, and the environment. We are deeply committed to carrying out our business in an ethical manner. We achieve this by recognizing our social, economic, and environmental impact. We have five core principles based on our social and environmental responsibility. These principles are deeply embedded within the culture of the company through the values of our CEO and senior management.
Promote and prioritize the Health and Wellbeing of our workforce and the communities in which we work.
Health and Safety:
Our business is only as healthy as our environment and communities but most of all – the well-being of our employees – is our greatest asset. See out Health and Safety Policy.
Our response to the Covid 19 crisis:
The health and safety of our customers and colleagues is our number one priority. We are doing all that we can to assist in containing the spread of covid 19. We support our employees that are facing challenges in the light of Covid and ensure that we support quarantine periods for employees that are traveling for work from overseas.. The health and well-being of both our contractors and subcontractors are of utmost importance to us at Tier Group. In addition to this, we have rolled out PPE packages for employees and encourage and provide information to our employees to follow recommended safety procedures.
Tier Group is committed to operate incident and injury free. We place our employees and subcontractors at the heart and forefront of our focus.
We aim to ensure, so far as is reasonably practicable, the health, safety, and welfare of our employees while they are at work and of others who may be affected by our undertakings.
Safety is the responsibility of everyone and is not just a function of management. Employees have specific responsibilities to take reasonable care of themselves and others that could be affected by their activities and to co-operate to achieve the standards required.
Promote Diversity and Inclusivity:
Inclusion and diversity are core leadership values. A healthy and inclusive culture creates superior business performance whilst driving innovation, effectiveness, and efficiency. We aim to attract and retain the best.
Ensure Equal Opportunity:
We are committed to ensuring that all workers are treated equally. We do not tolerate discrimination, violent and threatening behavior, or harassment.
Human Rights are central to sustainable business:
Tier Group is committed to ensuring the people and communities that support our entire value chain are treated with fundamental dignity and respect. Please see our Modern Slavery Statement and Policy on Human Rights
We are committed to embedding human rights considerations into decision-making across the company
Tier Group is strongly against the abuse of human rights.
We do not tolerate the use of child labor, forced labor, or human trafficking in any form— including slave labor, prison labor, indentured servitude, or bonded labor—in our operations or value chain.
We respect freedom of association and our employees’ right to join, form, or not to join a labor union or other lawful organization of their own selection, without fear of reprisal, intimidation, or harassment.
Acting and aligning our environmental impact:
Tier Group is committed to protecting and where appropriate enhancing the environment in which we operate. We will act in a responsible way and take a proactive approach to continually improving our environmental performance. We will ensure compliance with all legal, customer, and Tier Group requirements as a minimum.
